How it all began
I started attending yoga classes when I moved to London from France in my early twenties. Over the next 20 years, yoga became increasingly more important in my life. It helped me stay fit and relaxed as I progressed in my career working in the City and had to cope with ever more challenging roles. It was during that time that I also discovered reflexology.
In my early forties, I decided to leave corporate life behind and to pursue my interest in holistic health. This was in 2006 and I now combine teaching yoga with seeing reflexology clients from my home in Muswell Hill where I live with my family.
My journey and influences
Yoga and spiritual teachers
Over the last 30 years I have been privileged to work with wonderful yoga teachers. First I studied with Ernest Coates, one of the pioneers to have introduced Classical yoga in the UK in the 1970’s. I then practiced Iyengar yoga before training as a yoga teacher in the more intuitive approach taught by Jenny Beeken of the Inner Yoga Trust.
Once I had completed my yoga teacher training, I worked for several years with Diane Long and Sophy Hoare, both students of the late and very influential Vanda Scaravelli.
More recently I have been influenced by the spiritual teachings I have received from Yair Sagy and William Bloom.
Reflexology teachers
I was originally taught reflexology by the internationally reknowned Tony Porter with whom I completed my diploma in 1993. Since then, I have supplemented my training by attending courses run by Hagar Basis particularly focusing on helping women experiencing fertility issues and on working with women during their pregnancy.

- 2006: Inner Yoga Trust Teacher Training Diploma (three year training course) (course accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga, the national governing body for yoga in the UK.)
- 2007: Pregnancy yoga teaching Module
- 1993: International Institute of Reflexology Diploma (one year training course)

- 2014: Certificate of Professional Practice in Spiritual Studies and Companionship (Spiritual Companions Trust) (one year training course)
- 2012: MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology (University of Wales Trinity Saint David)
- 2008: Astrology Diploma (Faculty of Astrological Studies)
- 1994: Degree in English as a Foreign Language (Universite de Lille, France)
